A middle-aged convenience store clerk gets caught up in a hero summoning and is transported to another world!

Yuichi Otogi, a dull 35-year-old single man, gets dragged into what's known as a "class transfer" to another world.

While the summoned heroes each receive a cheat skill from the goddess and are reincarnated, Otogi was only caught up in the summoning by accident—so all the cheats were already taken, and he didn’t get one.

As a consolation, the goddess forcibly dumps into him a bunch of leftover, discarded skills she had gathered for cheat-skill reference and sends him off to the other world.

His stats are low, and his skills seem useless.

But the old guy doesn’t give up.

Before he knows it, he finds himself surrounded by girls—and even some pretty boys—who, for some reason, are all fond of him.

And he doesn’t entirely dislike the attention, either.

When he makes full use of those discarded skills, he turns out not to be weak at all.

This is the unremarkable story of a middle-aged man doing his best in another world.
