It was truly a shocking confession.
To think that the beautiful girl standing before me was Joan-kun.

“Then this will be quicker to explain. I can’t abandon those women and marry only you. You understand why, don’t you? You’re kind enough to see that.”
At my words, Joan-kun nodded, her expression tinged with sadness.
“Yeah. If you didn’t marry me, old man, but married other women instead… that would hurt.”
“Yes. In that sense, I’ve already registered my marriage with Arisa. I’ve already made everyone suffer. I don’t wish to cause any more pain.”
“Then… what are you going to do?”
Hearing that, I finally steeled myself. The problem I had kept postponing had come due at last.
“I will marry everyone. Including you, Joan-kun.”
