Whatever personal preferences Kato might have is entirely his own freedom. However, forcing those onto others is another matter entirely.
“Kanehama-kun. Has Kato always been like this?”
“No. Back on Earth, he was actually the type who messed around with women a lot.”
After saying that, Kanehama hesitated before continuing.
“There was a rumor that after being pressured into a physical relationship by some good-looking knights of the Runegard Kingdom, his romantic preferences shifted toward men… but I didn’t think it was actually true.”

So the root of the issue lay with the knights of the Runegard Kingdom.
This kind of morally questionable story wasn’t something we could ever let Marceline hear.
“Either way, it seems he’s cooperating with Naito of his own will. We’ll need to neutralize and restrain him.”
“Yes. Leave it to me, Otogi-san.”
With that, Kanehama stepped forward.
“Hey, Kato. Before we fight, let me tell you one thing.”
“What?”
“The knights of the Runegard Kingdom are well-paid, you know. Almost all of them are married to women.”
“W-What did you say?!”
The shocking revelation visibly rattled Kato.
“Then… when they said I was the only one… that was a lie?”
“And also, Kato. If you’re going to change the world, do it with your own strength. Relying entirely on Naito’s skill to create a world convenient for yourself… wouldn’t that be the mindset of a weak, spineless person? Wouldn’t that be looked down upon in your so-called world of men?”
“W-What?! Now that you mention it… does that mean I’m the weak one?”
Clutching his head, Kato began to waver.
Kanehama didn’t miss the opening.
“Got you!”
“Gah!”
With a single precise punch to the face, Kanehama knocked Kato unconscious.
His handsome face was now completely ruined.
“Phew. I learned that from how you handled Kanzaki, Otogi-san. Breaking their spirit first makes things easier afterward.”
“I… see.”
“Alright, Otogi-san. Please restrain him.”
“Understood.”
With that, Kato was successfully restrained using dark matter-infused alloy restraints and sent to the rear as a prisoner.
Well, despite that unexpected encounter…
Afterward, we were able to focus fully on persuading the remaining enemy soldiers without issue.
Within about thirty minutes, the enemy forces completely surrendered. With all mental control lifted and their will to fight gone, the entire enemy army laid down their arms.
Those responsible for persuading the Summoned individuals also completed their roles successfully, and everyone returned safely.
Thus, despite various complications, the battle against the mentally controlled enemy forces came to an end.
Considering the number of Summoned individuals deployed, Naito likely had no allies remaining.
All that was left was to capture Naito himself, waiting in the capital.
