Konbini Ossan Volume 1 Chapter 4 – Isekai Summoning
Actually, I know this delinquent girl. Her name is Arisa Mikimoto.
She’s the daughter of my married older sister — in other words, my niece.
She probably doesn’t remember, but we met once when she was in elementary school.
Compared to back then, she’s grown up a lot. But her facial features still carry that same impression from the past.
Even with her dyed hair and tanned skin, I can still recognize her.
“Oi, Arisa, you’re taking his side?”
“No, I’m not. But remember what happened to Takashi the other day? He got hauled in, didn’t he? I’m telling you—don’t lay a hand on him.”
“Tch. Hey old man! Keep acting cocky and I’ll seriously kill you!”
It seems the three boys are backing down thanks to Arisa’s intervention.
Apparently, Arisa commands some respect among this delinquent group.
While it’s not great that she’s fallen in with delinquents, I suppose her leadership skills are admirable in their own way.
Just as I was pointlessly musing about things that didn’t matter — suddenly, the four students from Mutsugaya High are engulfed in a dazzling light.
“H-Hey! What the hell is this?!”
“It’s too bright, dammit!”
The students panic, looking around at each other in confusion.
“Hey old man! What the hell did you do?!”
Arisa grabs me by the collar, clearly suspicious.
“No, I didn’t do anything—”
“Then what the hell is this?!”
Of course I don’t know. I’m just a convenience store clerk — I don’t have the power to make people glow. Arisa seems completely thrown off as well.
“I’ll kill you, old man!”
“Fix this, you bastard!”
“Die already, idiot!”
The three boys also seem to believe I’m the cause. This is bad — now I’m surrounded by glowing, angry high schoolers. There’s no escape.
And while all this is going on, the light grows even brighter.
Eventually, it becomes so intense that I can’t even see the scenery around me. Then, at our feet, a magic circle appears.
Since I’m surrounded by the students, I end up right in the center of the magic circle with them.
Rather than me doing something to them, it looks like I’m the one being dragged into it along with them.
This is troublesome. I haven’t slept yet today — I’d really just like to go home.
“Quit messing around, old man! Turn this thing off!”
Arisa yells at me again. But of course, I can’t do anything. I stay silent, unsure of what to do.
Eventually, the magic circle beneath our feet begins to glow too.
And then, wrapped in its light, we all lose consciousness.

There's a limit to unreasonableness… 🤦🏻♀️ And the "I'll kill you!" and "Die already!" are such small-time villain lines, 😂
Anyway, I'm surprised this gyaru didn't recognise her own Uncle. Did Ossan's face change that drastically?
