Konbini Ossan Volume 16 Chapter 9 — The Will to Advance
Following the three members of the Hero’s party, Vladgaria stepped forward as well.
“I ought to show my good side once in a while too.”
The next moment, Vladgaria unleashed her magical power.
Her greatest strength was her immense magic stat.
Which meant, quite simply, that she was capable of casting magic on an enormous scale.
From magical power so vast that even the Hero and Sage could not compare, magic beyond human comprehension was invoked.
If one were to describe the nature of that magic in words, yes... it would be “summoning magic”.
“Come forth, Nether Comet! «Hell’s Sphere»!”
Vladgaria’s abyss-attributed magical power connected to “somewhere” that was not here.
From that space filled with deep darkness befitting the word abyss, countless dark-colored spheres were summoned.
They were fragments of comets formed from abyssal magic power.
One after another, they came flying in and crashed into the Douki horde.
The abyssal comets ran over the Douki, erasing them, then returned to their original “somewhere”.
But Vladgaria’s attack was not over yet.
“And more! «Distortion Starlight»!”
Still connected to that distant “somewhere”, shining stars were summoned next.
Normally, abyss-attributed magic possessed the nature of darkness, yet here it was compressed into tiny points, glowing brilliantly like stars.
Those stars poured down upon the Douki like torrential rain, destroying them one after another.
This was Vladgaria’s true magical specialty.
From that once-opened “somewhere”, she continuously summoned masses of abyss-attributed magical power and used them to attack.
“And next, «Chaos Master»!”
Then she summoned swirling abyss-attributed magical power.
At the center of that magic, twisting like a typhoon cloud or a galaxy, the magical energy was compressed to an even greater density than «Distortion Starlight», generating gravitational pull that dragged in countless Douki.
Naturally, any Douki caught within it evaporated and vanished instantly.
“And even more! «Nereides of the World»!”
The spell that would conclude this chain of continuous attacks was activated.
The abyssal magical power that had permeated the surrounding area overflowed as though water were springing forth.
Countless Douki were swallowed by those waves of magic, rendered unable to move.
And then, the waves of magic returned to that “somewhere”, taking the trapped Douki with them.
Within the “somewhere” Vladgaria had connected to, nothing could exist except what had originally belonged there.
No, more accurately, nothing else was allowed to exist there.
Thus, the Douki sent there were denied existence itself, erased, and reduced into abyssal magical power.
Through this series of spells, Vladgaria slew far more Douki than even the three members of the Hero’s party.
“Please go, Otogi-san.”
“Kanehama-kun, but...!”
“Won’t you trust us?”
At Kanehama’s words, I found myself at a loss for words.
“Right now, our safety isn’t the top priority. Isn’t that true?”
“Besides, it’s not like we’re gonna lose or anything!”
“Hmph, I agree. Otogi-san, think of it the other way around. If you resolve this incident as quickly as possible, then there’s no problem at all.”
The trust of the three of them weighed heavily on me.
“They speak the truth,” Vladgaria said.
“Now is no time to waste arguing. Yūichi-dono, if you are worried for us, then all the more reason to leave this place to us and hurry onward.”
“...Got it.”
Prompted by Vladgaria, I nodded.
“Let’s go, Marceline! Yairo!”
“Yeah, leave the escort on the way to me!”
“Everyone, good fortune in battle!”
And so, leaving this place in the hands of the four of them, the three of us alone headed toward the dark region at the bottom of the sea.

Vladgaria is a conjurer in the truest sense and possibly the strongest being in this otherworld. Reminds me of Ichirou's Meteor Shower! Love it!
Anyway, as to why the long absence, I got into an accident.
I got hit by a car while I was standing on the footpath. What happened was a lady who recently got her license lost control of her sedan and although the car wasn't much fast, it hit me in my shin/leg and thigh area.
I must tell you, I'm a heavy guy(fatass 😂) and my legs are really strong from childhood stupidity (I'll share someday). I kid you not, though the car hit me, the front bumper and the number plate dented, albeit very slightly.
If you got near the car it is noticeable. It was new damn car ffs 😂 Now, make what you have to infer from all this crap! Thankfully I got away with very minor bone fracture and surface injury. Took tetanus for the first time though 😂
Sorry for the yap, I'm not stopping translation even if I'm injured!
