Relaxing to the music flowing through my headphones, I leaned back against the rear seat and brought up my status window.

Even at a glance, every one of them was powerful. Considering the monsters that possessed them were all high-ranking, that was only natural.
The three that stood out most were【Wind Dominion】,【Thunder Eclipse】, and【Ripple Aegis】.
【Wind Dominion】could be used both indoors and outdoors.【Thunder Eclipse】was similar in nature to【Azure Inferno】and【Riptide】, which enhanced the power of【Lightning Magic】.
And then there was【Ripple Aegis】, a skill straight out of fantasy, capable of reflecting entire barrages of magic.
True, it was limited to “water bodies”, but that could easily be solved if I simply flood the battlefield with【Water Magic】.
I had more than enough magic power. The number of mirrors I could generate would be considerable.
Just imagining an enemy’s spell barrage bouncing back at them made the corners of my mouth lift.
This would be a trump card even in battles against other hunters.
As I indulged in that pleasant imagination, Yong’s voice reached me through my headphones.
“Hunter Matsubara, we have arrived.”
Hearing that, I stopped the music, removed my headphones, and sat upright.
“Understood.”
Yong stepped out and opened the rear door for me. I gave a slight nod as I exited the car. At that moment, a fragrant, savory aroma drifted into my nose.
My hunger flared instantly, my stomach asserting itself with renewed urgency. Naturally, my steps quickened as I headed toward the source of the smell, the restaurant Yong had arranged.
If I was going to challenge the final S-Rank dungeon, I should fill my stomach and lift my spirits first.
Eat a good meal, bring myself into peak condition…
And then conquer that final dungeon properly.
