Still, with no trees to obstruct the view, it was not a bad place to fight.
Soon, eleven spheres of light descended from above, unfazed by the raging winds.
Ten transformed into Griffons, and the remaining one changed into something far more imposing.
A lion’s body the color of storm clouds. An eagle’s head and wings radiating white light.
Pale blue lightning coursed across its entire form, and it carried an aura as though even the tempest bowed before it.
“…Wild Hunter, Gryfa, huh.”
True to its name, it stood at the pinnacle of hunters. As befitting an S-rank dungeon boss, the air trembled merely from its presence.
Each time its gaze pierced me, my skin prickled. A lower A-rank hunter would have been unable to move under that pressure alone.
Gryfa flapped its wings once. That single motion intensified the storm, space itself creaking.
Then it unleashed a deep roar reminiscent of a lion’s cry. The eagle’s head was irrelevant, it was pure kingly intimidation.

I released my own【Sovereign Aura】. The battle spirit sealed within me burst forth, and the air quaked.
The moment the two auras collided, the boundary between heaven and earth seemed to waver, the wind howling louder still.
It was as if the very weather responded to the heat of battle.
At the center of the raging tempest, two hunters faced one another.
The Heavenly Hunting King who commanded the hunters of the skies, Gryfa.
The young hunter who had slain countless powerful foes and monsters, Matsubara Yuito.
A battle to determine which was worthy of the title “True Hunter” was about to begin.
