After about ten minutes of recovery, I placed my hand on the boss room door. When it opened, what awaited me wasn’t the usual rough stone walls— but the same desert terrain as before.

But there hadn’t been any mention of a second layer in the information shared online.

There’d be no reason to hide that kind of detail, and judging by the enemies I’d faced on the way here, there was no mistaking it— this was the boss room, and the environment was designed to favor the boss.

As the door shut behind me, ten small spheres of light and one larger one descended from above, sinking into the sand.

Moments later, the ground erupted— massive torrents of sand poured down like waterfalls, not one or two, but eleven in total.

From those sandfalls emerged creatures far larger than the Armored Centipedes— the colossal King Centipede, accompanied by ten Armored Centipedes.

“So at A-rank, the boss doesn’t come alone… it brings subordinates too.”

To wipe out the nuisances first, I began chaining skills together.

Activating【Covert Strike】, 【Physical Boost】, and【Stealth】, I charged forward at full speed.

With over a thousand points in each attribute, the buffs multiplied my stats:

Strength × 2.9;

Endurance × 1.4;

Agility × 1.4, and;

Dexterity × 1.5
