All the skills I frequently used had leveled up across the board. Maybe a new Job has been unlocked.

With something to look forward to when I got home, I began dismantling the monster in a good mood — until I sensed multiple presences approaching.

I stopped the dismantling and looked up.

There stood a strange, ominous-looking party.

Their weapons and armor didn’t match, but all of them wore black robes and white masks with crescent-moon slits.

The eerie group stared at me in silence from behind their masks.

“…Do you need some-?!”

Before I could finish asking, one of them vanished without a sound. But the movement was familiar, so I didn’t panic.【Vital Sense】immediately caught the target.

The assailant's dagger swung through empty air as I circled around on the spot. Simultaneously, I activated【Stealth】, slipped behind them (E/N: assailant gender not mentioned), and drove my dagger into the back of their neck.

When I pulled the dagger out, they coughed up a large amount of blood and collapsed to their knees.

(They went straight for the kill… Who the hell are these people? Judging by their matching masks and robes, they don’t look like your average PK party…)

Even though I had just killed one of them, the others didn’t seem disturbed in the slightest.

“Attacking out of nowhere — what’s your deal?”

“Not talking, huh… If you still plan to attack, I won’t hold back.”

I thought I was giving them a warning, but it seemed they had no intention of backing off. Each one shifted into a combat stance and charged at me.

Anyway, this Scythemanship isn't really sitting well with me for following reasons -

1. It levelled up when the assailant (human) was killed;

2. Yuito had equipped the Kobold King's Dagger at the time of killing;

I believe it's not Scythe or Sickle technique which is the literal meaning from the raws but, Dagger techniques or something similar. Care for your thoughts, guys?
