Soul Devourer Chapter 8 Episode 8 — The Carp on the Cutting Board and Reaching the Goal
After defeating the SS-Rank dungeon boss,〈Apophis King〉Typhon, Tensei Suzuki, Karen Miura, and Honoka Kikuchi successfully broke through the Level 100 barrier.
Immediately afterward, a rift appeared in space, and an ornate treasure chest slowly emerged from it.

Our target was Level 150.
The amount of experience required increases with every level. On top of that, the experience was being divided among 3 people, so we had no choice but to keep grinding through as many monsters as possible.
The monsters soaring through the air again and again were truly like “Carp on a cutting board”; all they could do was get carved up by the 3 of them.
(E/N: The idiom, "carp on a cutting board" means "being at someone's mercy")

I was called over by the Clanmaster of〈King of Swords〉, Tensei Suzuki.
I used【Warp】integrated into【Axiom】to move beyond the earthen wall and join the 3 of them.
“Yes? Have you reached your target level?”
“Yes. Thanks to you, we've reached Level 150.”
“That's great. Why don't you allocate your Skill Points and then fight alongside me? It would probably be better to get accustomed to your bodies while actually fighting.”
“That makes sense.”
“I agree.”
“Yes. I still have plenty of Magic Power left, so I agree with Hunter Matsubara.”
“Then let's do that. Suzuki-san, continue using your weapon as you have been. Miura-san and Kikuchi-san, use as much Magic Power as you like. I'll restore it with【Mana Transfer】.”

Using【Void Magic】integrated into【Axiom】, I teleported the 3 of them with me and once again faced the army of SS-Rank monsters.
I quietly watched the 3 of them fight while casually taking care of the monsters from the rear.
As long as I was here, there shouldn't be any danger to the 3 of them. Once I judged that they had become sufficiently accustomed to fighting, it might not be a bad idea to let them experience a battle against the Dungeon Boss as well.
