Beyond the stone corridor illuminated by torchlight, a massive door to the boss room came into view.

What appeared were ten Ugalurums.
And beyond them, one particularly massive shadow.
Larger than the Ugalulums by more than a full size, its mere presence dominated the air around it.
An oppressive aura worthy of being called the true King of Beasts seeped from the monster.
“Its name is... Narasimha. A being modeled after a lion king, but... it doesn't bear a ‘King Name’.”
As my gaze swept across it, an unfamiliar entry appeared in its skill list.

Narasimha kicked off the ground.
The distance between us vanished in a flash.
A massive arm swung upward before a gigantic fist came crashing down.

I caught it with my left palm.
A kick from its left leg followed immediately after.
The sharp, heavy strike sought to smash into my right side.
I stopped that easily with my right palm as well.
Narasimha then reached for my head, attempting to drive its right knee into me.
…Too slow.
I grabbed the wrist that held me and forcibly tore it away.
Then I slammed my forehead into the incoming knee.
A dull, sickening crack echoed through the room.
Narasimha's knee shattered, and its enormous body staggered.
“Guh... GrrrroOO...”
Facing Narasimha as it stumbled backward on unsteady legs, I quietly took a step forward.
