I took a small, steady breath so I wouldn’t get swept away by her mature allure, shifted my mindset, and turned toward her.
“Excuse me. There’s something I’d like to ask.”
“What might that be?”
“I want to ensure my parents’ safety. I’ve heard that if I join a clan, I can live in the clan’s housing for free. But how is the security?”
“Does that mean… you are considering joining our clan?”
“Yes.”
“I see. Then allow me to explain.”
According to her explanation, outsiders other than family members were strictly forbidden from entering. In rare cases where entry was allowed, their identity was thoroughly verified.
