Defeating nearly a hundred trolls along with the Troll King had raised my level by 13.

That alone was incredible — but what really stood out were my stat increases.

All of them had gone up by several hundred points!

Just how many level-ups would that normally take?

The fact that my stats skyrocketed so much from only those few moments of battle sent shivers down my spine — once again reminding me of how terrifyingly powerful【Soul Eater】was.

Not only my level and stats, but my skills had improved too.

The Resistance-type skills in particular had risen sharply, and combined with my stats, I might even be able to withstand attacks from A-rank monsters or hunters now.

Well, not that I plan to actually test it out.

And then there was【Regeneration】, the skill I acquired from the trolls.

Restores lacerations and lost limbs. Higher levels increase recovery speed.

It’s a very powerful skill, but ideally one I’ll never have to use. The pain itself isn’t blocked, and during regeneration I’d be completely defenseless.

It’s the kind of skill that can’t be relied on too often — that’s my honest impression.

After finishing my status check, I spent my remaining skill points on【Subterfuge】and went to sleep.
