Soul Devourer Chapter 6 Episode 2 — Moscow’s Welcome
After the Japan-Russia alliance was announced to the world, I organized the contents of my《Magic Pouch》.
I went out with Dad and Mom and bought everything I would need for the stay, like a change of clothes and daily necessities.
Once preparations were complete, we headed straight to Haneda Airport by taxi.
Seen off warmly by the two of them, I departed Japan and, after roughly a ten-hour flight, arrived at Russia’s largest airport, Sheremetyevo International Airport.
After finishing immigration, the body check, and baggage inspection, I stepped through the gate, and my field of vision suddenly opened wide.
There… was a massive crowd.
Countless camera flashes went off all at once, and I narrowed my eyes against the brightness as I walked through them.
Then, a man protected by what appeared to be bodyguards doubling as hunters approached me.
A moderately trained physique, a suit whose fine tailoring was obvious at a glance. His mature, distinguished features made him look like one of those handsome older actors straight out of a movie.
Judging by appearances alone, he looked like he could head to the front lines right now, but, I couldn’t see any status values or skills. Apparently, he himself wasn’t a hunter.
“Hunter Matsubara, welcome to Russia.”
The Russian words spoken from his mouth reached my ears as fluent Japanese through the《Language Translation Earrings》.
I firmly shook the hand he offered and returned the greeting.
“I’ll only be staying for a short time, but thank you for having me. I look forward to working with you.”
I could see that he was also wearing《Language Translation Earrings》. My words should have reached him properly as well.
“I am Donato, Guildmaster overseeing Russia’s Hunter Guild. We will assign dedicated support staff to accompany your activities here. If anything comes up, please do not hesitate to consult us.”

After laughing cheerfully, Mr. Donato changed the subject.

And beyond that, a figure equal to China’s〘Regalia〙, Wang Haoran.
Honestly, I was interested.
I just hope there aren't any troublesome people mixed in…
“Understood. I’m curious too, so I’d be happy to meet them.”
“Thank you very much. Then let us head there at once.”
Following behind Mr. Donato, I boarded one of the luxury cars parked outside the airport.
I rode in the same vehicle as Mr. Donato, while the numerous bodyguards-cum-hunters were distributed among several other vehicles.
A convoy of multiple cars lined up and departed the airport.
Our destination, Russia’s Hunter Guild headquarters.
Russia’s current time is 1 PM, huh…
If the introductions go smoothly, I should be able to clear one or two S-Rank dungeons today.
