When all the spheres shone even brighter, ten Muspels appeared, along with a monster nearly twice their size, wielding a gigantic flaming sword as tall as itself: Surtr.
“I’ll finish this in an instant!【Flight】.”
I leapt high on the spot and hovered above Surtr using【Flight】, consuming more mana than usual to cast【Ice Magic】.
“«Icicle Rain»”
Icicles, each comparable in size to Surtr, formed around me.
Swinging my hand down as if pointing at Surtr—
“Pierce!”
The icicles launched all at once, raining down upon Surtr and the Muspels.

Disliking the dense steam, Surtr violently swung his flaming sword, dispersing it in an instant.
Then, locking onto me hovering in the air, Surtr generated a multitude of azure flame swords around him and fired them all at once in my direction.
I swiftly descended straight downward with【Flight】to evade the azure blades, pulled《Balmung》from my《Magic Pouch》, and activated【Slash Arts】.
On the spot, I repeatedly swung《Balmung》, unleashing a continuous barrage of flying slashes.
Surtr swept his【Azure Inferno】-enhanced sword in an attempt to cancel out the incoming slashes, but their momentum did not wane; they carved into his massive body.
Leaping to avoid the spreading azure flames surging toward me, I continued releasing slashes while closing the distance.
Once I drew as near as possible, I unleashed a stronger slash.
That slash reached Surtr’s core body, and along the long vertical cut, his figure split and slid apart before sinking to the ground.
