“So that’s the boss of this dungeon…”

Standing motionless beside the eggs and staring straight at me was a monster.

Its height appeared to be at least twice that of a Soldier Ant, and its total length rivaled that of a Flame Wyvern.

The Kaiju-like monster with a beautifully gleaming jet-black exoskeleton was known as the Queen Ant.

In other words, the progenitor/mother of the Soldier Ants and the queen that reigned at the very top.

And guarding the queen and her eggs were ten Soldier Ants standing close at her side.

“…Come to think of it, there’s no boss room door here, is there? Is this really okay?”

For Hunters, being able to retreat from a boss area in an emergency was a blessing, but if that boss ever made its way out into the field, the Hunters would suffer catastrophic losses.

Using【Presence Concealment】,【Mana Concealment】,【Stealth】, and【Covert Strike】, I wiped out the guarding Soldier Ants in an instant, then activated【Warp】to appear above the Queen Ant’s head.

Just like before, I brought《Balmung》down along the seams of her exoskeleton.

The impact of her head hitting the ground sent a thunderous roar echoing through the chamber, thick clouds of dust billowing up.
